So, today I woke up and saw an ad for the app google chrome. It said that browsing will be faster and all this new features that it comes with. So I downloaded it and it is a little faster than the regular browser. So the good news is that now I can post on my blog from home. Well, besides this, I am going to be busy today by reading he book Grapes of Wrath. It is a book assigned to by my American literature teacher. The book is about the migrant families that lost their land to the Bank because their farms weren't doing so good because of the man-made disaster that we now know as the dust bowl. So they all went to the promised land where they would have jobs and money to feed their families, but when they get to California, they get rejected. John Steinbeck shows us how we humans are so greedy and full of selfishness that we don't help each other when we are in need of some aid. All contraire, don't help each other and it becomes a dog eat dog world. Some may call it darwinism. I call it a disgrace to the human race. the actions of some people worsened the living conditions of the migrant families. Steinbeck tells us that we are not living an a world of good morals and ethics, and that we need to change that, because every time that we don't live by them, we loose our humanity
